I had testicular cancer -- twice -- so, after the second orchiectomy, and without adequate TRT at the time, I developed major depression and anxiety. So, yes, no testosterone can really suck, whatever the cause of the low/no T is.
For me, exercise, meditation and lots of mental health counseling helped much more than a raft of trial-and-error anti-depressants and other psychotropics. (I "fired" my idiot psychiatrist last year. I'm a retired pharmacist myself, and I should have known better than to let him over-prescribe the way he did, but I was sick (duh)...
My urologist will let me know next week if I must stop my testosterone injections now. Frankly, that scares me almost as much as one more cancer does...
