Thank you for supporting my decision to go with MSK. I have Dr. Kingham as my surgeon.
I wonder if you have a recommendation for a good endocrinologist in the area. I would appreciate any insight into MSK and surgical nuances.

Hi Adele,
I am just reading all your posts and questions and answered to you in backward order lol.
Not positive but think Dr Kingham performed the surgery on my roommate. Might ask him about the 36 year old from Brewster NY who was discharged in 7-8 days after surgery, got home and 1 day later was in extreme pain to be readmitted given antibiotics and discharged only to return 1 day later in severe pain to be cut open again and washed out inside. He too was non cancerous but the surgery was done to prevent cancer down the road at his young age.
