I’m sorry he’s having such a hard time. Maybe cut the dosage down on the oil. Did your friend ask the dispensary for what he needs they would need it for? Like pain, nausea, etc.? (Not that it’s for a friend). CBD oil is usually used for pain but also helps with other symptoms. Depending on your state on what your options are. It’s trial and error on the dosage and the symptoms on what he would take. All this is still new to me; I’m still learning and researching but the state I’m in is very limited. I will keep him and your family in my prayers.

Hospice is much different here. They wouldn’t discuss anything with me unless I had a DNR.
But “maybe” adjusting his dosage will help him. Also it’s the THC that makes people high; CBD will not. But for it to work better, there needs to be at least a fraction of THC in with the CBD; not enough for him to notice. You can start at low doses and build up until you find the right dosage for him. Please don’t give up on it. I haven’t spoken to anyone that it didn’t help. By him getting his own card and you add on as someone who can buy for him, the doctor he sees to get his card can tell him what he needs and how much.
I don’t know if any of this helps. You may already know it; I didn’t know anything about it until the cancer and I didn’t think seriously about it until the hospital nurses and the cancer center suggested it.
One last opinion: I’m 70 years old and if they told me something was addictive, I wouldn’t care as long as it worked. But even though there may be a warning about addiction on the THC, I believe they have to put that on there. Through all my research, never read or talk to anyone that it is addictive.
There are about 500 natural ingredients in the marijuana plant and they are all medicinal; one will even kill cancer cells. I can’t remember which part(s) it is. I can’t get it where I live. But the pharmacy manufacturers don’t want that; too much money made for them to treat cancer…. not cure.
May God bless you all every moment in time.

Hi. I can't remember if I ever responded to you, but my husband passed away on Sunday Feb. 23rd. He was in a good samaritan house which is part of hospice here. He went there last wednesday and passed away on Sunday. but he got the best care in the world there. I know he was comfortable and not suffering when he passed. The visiting hospice nurses knew he was fast declining and they suggested he go there so I drove him there. Best decision of my life. They could give him all the pain meds he needed to stay pain free and comfortable. I also could tell by his behavior before he went that he was getting worse. He was confused, and falling all the time, It was getting hard for me to keep picking him up. He was hardly eating nor was he drinking much. So, he no longer needs any more earthly meds. But thanks for your response.
