Anyone use Botox for Pelvic Floor Pain?

Can you please provide the name of your provider who gave you the injections? I’ve been searching but haven’t been able to find someone who did them? I’ve heard more than 2 courses does the trick. Also was the procedure itself painful and did you have side effects?

Find a pain management clinic that does them. Usually pain management clinics that deal with migraines do Botox. Sometimes you have to convince them to do the Botox for your needs. I started doing Botox in 2013 for my back shoulder muscles. At that time, it was more unorthodox, but I found doctors who were willing to write for the prior authorization. These days it’s pretty common at a pain management clinic to offer the Botox injection and they will know how to write the order so that it’s medically necessary for your need and insurance will cover it.
