Thanks for your reply! I had mac absessus in 2021 and don’t know if I still have it. I did IV Linezolid, oral Amikacin and another oral drug I don’t recall the name of. That one took the place of an IV drug I couldn’t tolerate due to extreme nausea. (I had to get monthly pre-approval for the oral one because it was relatively new). I had to stop the whole thing after 3.5 months because my toes went numb. Anyway I’ve been nebulizing the 3% saline for a year or more and I’m doing very well. Except for an annoying cough I can run and play tennis like usual. I don’t have too much mucus, but do have some. Plus a highly annoying constant tickle in my throat. The dr got the aerobika for me because I asked him if doing percussion therapy might even make things better.
