Are you sure the doctor said that a PET scan doesn’t show prostate cancer? The PSMA Pet scan is the industry standard for finding prostate cancer in a body.

If you think he doesn’t produce PSMA so the scans show nothing then ask about the FDG scan. FDG can find cancer that doesn’t produce PSMA

All I know is he said he preferred a ct over a pet scan. This was the Md Anderson Dr
