My endo could not get the order into quest. There is some rigamarole about the codes and then it comes up as " Ordering Restrictions may apply. Please provide SERVICE AREA INFORMATION to find available tests you can order. Not offered in Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute (IFD) – San Juan Capistrano. My Vitamin D,25-OH was low at 15 (optimal>30) So I assume he will put me back on calcitriol. I found 1 report by OncohemaKey.com on "markers of bone turnover in Bone mets from prostate cancer" that says Vit D deficiency is one of several things that can cause high bone turnover. It's the only article I could find for high p1np (I don't have prostate cancer)
