Valaclyclovir did improve my energy and mood a little bit but it seemed to work by suppressing my already over taxed immune system. I say that because I have been susceptible to tremendously itchy skin rashes with Long COVID and had even more/different breakouts while on the antiviral. Doc finally did a punch biopsy on one to see what it was and was not caused by a virus so we stopped the antiviral on day 40.

We are now going to trial low dose Naltrezone. Had to get it from a compounding pharmacy since the dose is too low to find in a pharmacy.

Hi. I am also on low does Naltrexone. It has helped me tremendously. I was getting it through a compounding pharmacy at a cost of about $900 a year. Finally figured out how to save almost all of that money by taking LDN oral solution - 1ml = 1 mg. So my 3mg dose is taken with a 3ml oral syringe. Annual cost is about $10 (no missing zeros!). It is available in a regular pharmacy and is fully covered by my insurance. Best, wishes to you.
