Low Testosterone medication after a radical prostatectomy. Is it safe?

I had a radical prostatectomy 12 years ago.
Should I investigate if it is safe to take medication for low testosterone?

I'm sure your Urologist would say "only if your PSA is very, very low".
And what that number is, can be elusive. Personally I'd say: below 0.5 ng/mL.
You are trying to raise the level of one thing that promotes PCa.

I would. It could be a risk. We never know where some little metastasis might be hiding. I've heard it can hide for ten years. You're at 12. Just watch PSA carefully. best luck
