I like a med called bupropion, that’s generic for Wellbutrin. It affects all 3 major neurotransmitters that are often deficient in anxiety/ depression. Of course one size doesn’t fit all, especially with mental health problems. Bupropion is on the stimulant end, so people who feel tired, sluggish, unmotivated, in a fog from depression will benefit most. It helps with anxiety but other drugs may be better such as the SSRI group. This is a highly specialized area of medicine so any medication considered should be selected carefully by a physician well versed in psychiatric treatment. Patient symptoms must be assessed and an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan formulated on an individual basis. Please do not try anyone else’s medication or experiment on your own. This can be dangerous!
