Correction, it was an estrogen pill inserted and not progesterone. Spoke with the doctor. She called in a prescription for DHEA for vaginal atrophy.. Do you know anything about it?

I am more than pleased with either a transdermal estrogen patch , testosterone pellet and progesterone pill or a combined estrogen testosterone pellet with progesterone pill. With either combo I also used vaginal estrogen cream every few days. No negative side effects. But we are all different.

I didn't know DHEA could be prescribed for vaginal atrophy. I've only seen it as an otc supplement. Is your prescription a pill? Cream? Could you please also tell me what type of doctor prescribed it. Thanks!
