Testosterone pellet therapy for women
I am 71 years old and it was suggested to me that I should try this to help rebuild bone and muscle and hopefully restore and heal my injured knee. Severe arthritis bone on bone on left knee along with meniscus tear and ACL tear.

As a counterpoint, I have not had any issues with the testosterone pellet. My functional medicine provider is very conservative about dosing and follows my blood tests carefully. I am, however, go into ask her about the patch mainly for my convenience.
Thank you. You answered my question
I've never even heard of this . My oncologist wanted to start me on Prolia. I declined. I'm not gonna die from osteoporosis so no thx I'll. Pass.
What patch ? My oncologist suggested Prolia. I said no. Not gonna die from osteoporosis. Sounds dumb but I take
6 different meds for 3 different issues.
Thank you for your response. I am a 71 year-old female and I’m just wondering approximately what age you are and how long have you been taking the testosterone pallet therapy.? Is it testosterone/estrogen/progesterone in the pellet? Or is progesterone taken separately as an pill? And are you seeing any amazing benefits with this product?
I have a pellet that contains estrogen and testosterone. The progesterone is an oral med. And I also use an estrogen vaginal cream.
So, amazing results for me are return of libido, no more vaginal atrophy or dryness. No more urine leaks. Better concentration, clearer thinking, a zest for life, a general sense of connection with my body and enjoyment of my body and life.
Oops. I am 76. I started. Hrt about 6 months ago

Wow! Thank you for this valuable information. It’s very encouraging. However a week ago I started taking the progesterone vaginal pill for vaginal atrophyinserted into the vagina and I am having-all the listed bad side effects so I’m wondering what will happen when I decide to do the pellet therapy and take the Progesterone pill? Waiting for a callback from my doctor.
Correction, it was an estrogen pill inserted and not progesterone. Spoke with the doctor. She called in a prescription for DHEA for vaginal atrophy.. Do you know anything about it?
I am more than pleased with either a transdermal estrogen patch , testosterone pellet and progesterone pill or a combined estrogen testosterone pellet with progesterone pill. With either combo I also used vaginal estrogen cream every few days. No negative side effects. But we are all different.
