@debbiejp Since you are taking a blood thinner and have been bleeding with clots I hope that you have called your doctor or better yet gone to the Emergency Department at your local hospital. The hemorrhaging you describe sounds very serious to me and if it were me I'd be seeking medical care on an urgent basis.

My computer indicates that you posted your note just 6 hours ago. What's going on this morning and what have you decided to do?

I’m a retired RN and worked in cancer nursing for 20 years. I took vitamin K 5mg tab last night and did not take the Xarelto 20mg I normally take. This morning the bleeding has stopped and I have contacted my doctor.. plan to take it easy today. If the bleeding returns, I’ll either go to my doctor or present in the ER. Can this be resolved with cauterization?
