Hi… I am 14 years out from a double Lung Transplant. My high-grade bladder cancer non-muscle invasive was non-responsive to BCG. My current physician was recommending a study with Oncofid…. A chemo treatment essentially. However, at some point I’m gonna need another Lung Transplant most then is required to be two years past cancer, which is my dilemma. I am considering bladder removal at Mayo in Jacksonville. Most of the first second and third opinions have said that most of the treatment options are like kicking the can down the street… And the cancer is likely to come back for immune compromised. Anybody’s thoughts are welcomed and I will keep you posted.
