PRP injections for neuropathy in your feet?
Has anyone had PRP injections for neuropathy in your feet? I have had chemo induced neuropathy from 32 intrathecal treatments through an Ommaya reservoir in my head. 8 rounds in hospital intravenous. They said my neuropathy and brain fog would go away in 3 months. Eight yrs later it seems to be getting worse. So many scams about neuropathy. Has anyone tried this, and did it help? Thanks

$9000???? I received 2 PRP injections in my Achilles tendon for about $800 each about 3 years ago (that was my out of pocket, I don't think insurance picked much of it up). That's insane. It worked wonders for my tendinosis and essentially got rid of the bump/scar tissue so I was hopeful it would at least promote blood flow and provide some benefit, sorry to hear it. I'm going to get PRP in my knee for arthritis so will report back if I find out anything about PRP in the feet and associated costs.
Reports I have read do talk about PRP having some success with tendons. Neuropathy I believe is more about nerves. Without looking I believe chemo damages the myelin sheath surrounding the nerve. That is what I have heard about my brain anyway. Feet may be different. Sad it is hard to trust people when your health is so important, and you look for help.
