Thank you. I have read the Nottingham grades from a few different sources. I have had a biopsy.
Mayo Jacksonville seems to be over committed.
After my biopsy report I was told to call for another MRI when I had just had one two weeks earlier. Finally straightened that out. I have appt for oncology nurse navigator and with surgeon end of March consult. They will give me no time frame as to when the surgeon has time for surgery. All I was told it depends on need.

Sounds like they are overbooked as you say. Would you have the ability to go to a larger facility with more breast surgeons or even large out of state teaching facility. If it’s lumpectomy then it’s usually day surgery and basically quick physical recovery.
You say they thought you were DCIS Nottingham 2 which from what I quickly discerned is not that fast growing although I agree the many weeks you have to wait seems daunting. There is no indication of DCIS Invasive correct?
They will decide on your urgency based on historical data and the oncology NP shld be able to answer your questions about timing.(when you finally get to see her)
