Nothing new to report on my end after my 4400 calcium score many months back prompted a nuclear stress test and echocardiogram and an increase in my statins. My doctor explained to me that one could have a score of 5000 and have no blockages, or a score of 50 with blockages. It all depends on where the calcium is located. Or something like that. In any case, I'm still alive. I suspect you will still be alive even if you walk slowly to the cardiologist's office instead of running @orionrex.

I thought I was shockingly high at 2300 score. I've never heard of anybody higher until now just stumbled upon this thread. My cardiologist seems to think exactly what you said it's just located in spots that has not caused much of a problem at the moment. I will keep checking this thread

My husband just got similar news and wondering how you are doing. An EKG last year indicated a possible MI infarct but cardiologist said it was related to his 1st degree AV block and cleared him for surgery. Now this CAC score of 3900. He can ride his stationary bike for an hour at the highest level. Lifts weights and walks regularly. He is always asymptomatic. Cardiologist appt next week on his birthday.
