@falconsky Welcome to Connect. What I learned going through a C5/C6 cervical fusion is that surgical scar tissue tightens up a lot as the body heals. That puts a lot of pressure on your tissues and can generate a lot of pain or muscle spasms. My physical therapist did myofascial release on me to release this tension. if you look at this post in this discussion, there is a link to information.

Hello! I saw this post and I have been trying to research to see if this is more common than I thought and my surgeon neglected to mention this. I thought I was basically the only person having terrible migraines almost every day. Seems to sort of help most of the time if I get off my feet. I am post op 4 months after disc replacement on c6/c7.

The relief was great until about 2 months after surgery and now just daily headaches sometimes so bad I can’t drive.
If you have found any relief methods I would be so very interested and grateful. 🙏They have me on Steroids, Gabapentin, Methocarbomal, and Ibuprofen. I only pray I could find a better way that truly helps

@falconsky This! I am 8 weeks post op for c5-c7 ACDF. Had vestibular migraines with Meneire's prior to surgery, but they have been awful for the past 4 weeks. The neck pain, dizziness, and intermittent blurred vision are awful. And the nausea lasts for days where I can barely get anything down. I hope this is temporary due to inflammation and healing. Feel better.
