Dear hipgranny,
I feel the pain you're going through. Only when someone 'walks in your
shoes' can they feel your pain. I have been there. Please try Arch Support
with velcro strap. Also, buy something called "Heel Seats" to put in shoes. That name alone should make you smile.
I previously wrote a comment a while back - and wish it could be
reprinted. In it, I wrote about my intense pain from Plantar Fasciitis
and the 'steps' I went through. Grateful to say, I am free of this 'happiness'.
So, hipgranny (you) from another 'hipgranny' (me) ... please try these
suggestions. These aids helped me and pray they will help you as well.
See you in the Ballroom! That would be grand simply to envision.
Good Luck.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried heel cups to no avail. Also orthotics and night brace. I know different things work for different people but I'm almost ready for surgery. I'm a little scared to risk a flat foot as the worst outcome. So, I'm about to try Acupuncture. Im desperate because after hip replacement over a year ago my foot is worse and Dr says it's causing my knees to hurt. Also, the hip replacement that was on the opposite leg has started hurting almost as much as before the replacement because my gait has altered so much. To sum it up,I'm miserable 😖. Appreciate prayers please.
