I haven't tried them yet, but a health nut friend of mine recommended the Orgain brand organic shakes.

You can choose between plant-based protein and animal-based protein versions: https://orgain.com/collections/protein-shakes

I see they can be ordered on Amazon.

@markymarkfl hi. I had A pylorus preserving Whipple surgery one year ago. I was in the hospital for five weeks with a lot of complications. I went through the no eating or drinking stage. Then the liquid stage then I started eating a little bit very little. I had TPN for many months, then after TPN I had to have a bag of fluids as needed because I was so dizzy, I did pass out once and went to the emergency room in an ambulance. Now I drink electrolytes every day all day and for a long time I was taking the orgain organic protein powder, no flavor, plant based, green top. I put 2 scoops in an old Talenti jar with a tsp. Of decaf for flavor and filled it with cold water and would shake it vigorously. It was very easy. I drank it in the morning. As far as post problems I’ve had nothing but gi problems. Now I have to see an irritable bowel specialist which hasn’t happened yet. I had constant diarrhea 9 times a day for about 10 months. Cramps, etc. now I have both diarrhea and constipation constantly with cramps and horrific hemmorhoids. I personally am a mess and I also have severe pancreatic enzyme insufficiency and possible ibs or uc. I’m not a happy camper. Yes Amazon has the organic organic protein powder. My husband drinks it the same way daily. Just shake it a lot.
