@rcoe126 I had an extremely large prostrate. 212cc size. I had HoLep at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. Next morning catheter was removed and I was sent home 2 hours later. It was a 3 1/2 hour surgery. I had zero discomfort, zero pain. My Surgeon Kevin Wymer told me because my prostrate was so large I would probably have temporary incontinence for at least 3 months, and he told me I would just have to be real patient. I had almost no leakage right from the start. 1 1/2 weeks later zero. My was almost 2 years ago. I have had zero complications. I would recommend the procedure to anyone. I'm 69 and now I pee like a teenager. The follow up nurse/pa that did the uroflow test said I empty my bladder better than a teenager. 1,000,000% happy with HoLep procedure.

First glad you had some relief before the setback. I’m in the glory stage. Everything that’s been tested is back to complete normal accompanied by occasional mild burning and perennial numbness. I’m keeping my eyes open for post infection, relapse or blockage. I’ve been fortunate thus far. Hope you heal quickly
