Pinched nerve in back

Your bone hook is a bone spur or osteophyte. This bone growth is due to pressure between vertebrae end plates and usually caused by degenerated discs. Depending on where the bone growth is, you may need surgery in the future if symptoms worsen beyond pain. I had to have cervical spine surgery to remove a bone growth compressing my spinal cord/nerve roots at C5-C6. I have new bone growths that will need to be removed when I have my C6-C7 decompressed and fused due to herniated disc pressing on my spinal cord and nerve roots causing radiculopathy.

That’s good info! Hopefully it won’t get to that stage, but I really appreciate the feedback!

My L5-S1 is severely compressed. I'm awaiting results of a 2nd Nerve Blocking. Presumably, then I'll get one (some??) Nerve Ablations that 'should' block/deaden my nerve to brain recognition of pain. THEN, hopefully, I can return to gym, pool and restretch and restrengthen low back, butt, leg and goin muscles..... Sound logical?
