Trimix injection good or bad idea?

Posted by jasonfarmer @jasonfarmer, Sep 17, 2023

59 years old. prostatectomy just over 3 months ago. Take daily 5mg tadalafil or 100mg sildenafil before intercourse . Successful only 2 times without vac pump. I am considering Trimix injections just not sure when or if I should. I would appreciate some insight from men who have used and when they started. No other treatments for cancer needed. Presently cancer free. 0 psa 2 blood test so far. I am thankful for what I have just want the best I can achieve. Thank you for any shared experiences good or bad.

A follow on question for the Trimix users. Does the amount used changed the quality of erection? I had read to start small and work your way up. Yesterday was 5cc I thought maybe I’d try 7-8 the next time, then maybe 10…?

I guess what I’m asking is this. Is there a strict correlation between the amount you inject to the fullness of the erection or is it more about tweaking the chemical makeup of the injection. Prior to surgery my erections we’re incredible, but while yesterdays trial run was quite the weight lifted off my shoulders I’d only put it at an 8/10. Good enough for penetrative sex but not by much.

I’ve read the pharmacy can manipulate the dosing so If any experienced users out there could help me discern which is more important (quantity over chemical makeup) I’d appreciate it.

Thank you again.

Hey SW, you are on the right track. Increase your dosage slowly until you achieve your desired results. An increased dosage will result in a firmer penis but too much could cause an erection to last too long and that would be bad for you. I believe those that were having the makeup manipulated were having side effects, (pain, throbbing etc.) Trimix has been a game changer for me.

Thank you, picked up the actual full Rx today, I was astounded at what they said you COULD inject…going to try 8 and see what happens. The psychological relief that this part of my life is “back” is a game changer. Thanks for the input, it’s appreciated

Start with smaller dose and work up. Have some antidote on hand to preclude a trip to the ER. I've been on it for 6 months and it's wonderful. Took me several months to figure out the correct dose for me.
When you first get your vial and you figure out the optimal dose, fill all syringes and freeze them. Shelf life in the refrigerator is only about a month. Six months if frozen. Take them out 20 min before injection and they are ready to go! Best wishes!

Is there any age limit for positive effects of Trinidad? I’m 89 and wondering if there is anyone out there still performing?

Not Trinidad but trimix

91 and still successful with it. I use the VA prescribed Edex; no need to refrigerate.
Good luck!!

Question, I have read on other sights that BiMix might work just as well, I’ve upped the dosage to 15 units and while it’s effective it’s pretty painful which I have read could the the 3rd ingredient in the Rx.

Has anyone else experienced this and switched to BiMix? Pain lasts for some time (I am injecting it correctly and it doesn’t seem to matter where or which side etc.) it’s works but is painful.

I though maybe it was just because it’s not getting the blood flow everyday but it should sure seems to ache during and after.

Stillwater for me it was uncomfortable even to the point I had to proceed slowly when engaging in sex but with time it got better @ year in half now. Time was my friend. Yes one of the medicines causes pain in some men I suggest you speak with you doctor. He should be able to help. It is an unbelievable medical treatment for me. Last night was at it for @ 65 minutes without pain. ( very much so not normal for me, usually 10 or 15 minutes ) just hoping you don’t give up. But I know it is not a solution for everyone. I do still have minor discomfort afterwards but sitting in recliner afterwards helps. Best and successful future to you.

I mentioned earlier that I had the same type of lingering discomfort after Trimix injections. I asked my urologist to prescribe a low alprostadil compound which has greatly reduced the discomfort level. There’s still a little there, but it’s easily tolerated (unlike before). Haven’t tried Bimix yet, so not sure if that works as well. My isssue remains that the Trimix is not quite as effective as I’d like. So after injecting, I use a vacuum erection device to get me to my happy place. Good luck.

Hadn’t thought about that vacuum, thank you. I get an 8.5/10 with the current regiment and some arousal and it’s a 8.8 but not the 10 or sometimes the 10+ I used to have. I’ll ask about a lower dose of the alprostadil. Appreciate your time, it’s truly a good thing to have the help and support of folks that have been down this road, it makes all the difference.
