44 %of the population has a gene mutation not allowing them to process folic acid . A methylation test can tell you if you have any of 5 possible gene mutations from your parents .You only have to do this swab test once in your life. Then you can adjust whether to take a methylated form of the vitamin or mineral or not . Really helps with things like folic acid and anxiety .Watch Gary Brecka on YouTube he explains well

lightwarrior7, Interesting you brought this up. An Integrative Medicine doctor diagnosed me with this 2 years ago. I do not process folic acid well. I am presently on B12 injections weekly. He prescribed the Metyl B12 injections and you can't get them in my area. I get the cyan B12 injections.

My symptoms were fatigue and parasthesia in my arms, hands, legs and feet.
