I'm tagging fellow members like @sepdvm @johnfromca @sue225 @rjlpool502 and others who may have some tips about staying comfortable while retaining gemcitabine or other intravesical medications in the bladder.

@delavan, have you started treatment yet?
@jimg56, how is your husband doing with side effects?

Hi,
Side effects seem to be just the urgency to urinate. After having a week break from treatment the urgency has subsided. There was minimal nausea. Appetite is a little less. There was a little burning during urination. That has subsided.
He starts his second round on monday. It’s hard for him to really hold in the chemo for the hour. They had said to lay back while the chemo is in his bladder but he finds it better to sit up with his legs slightly reclined.
