Anyone here dealing with peripheral neuropathy?

Please describe the type of cronic, debilitating pain that you’re talking about. Over the last 3-4 years I’ve had two bouts of debilitating pain in my feet and legs lasting about 2 to 3 months, then vanishing as quickly as it appeared. So I’m waiting for the next shoe to drop. My pain is at its worse when I get up from laying down or sitting and put weight on my right leg. It hurts so much I often cry out. Then it mais very difficult to get around.

I was diagnosed at Mayo Clinic with peripheral neuropathy back in 2012. During most of that time I experienced no pain; just numbness, mostly in my feet and then my fingertips and loss of balance.

I also had spine of fusion surgery in late September, and that seem to exacerbate the pain.

Neuropathy nerve pain. Constant, never ending, especially at night. Take 1600 mg gabapentin at one time along with topical lidocaine. Often, that is not enuf to enable me to fall asleep.
