My heart goes out to those of you who have pseudo / pheochromocytoma (either). I barely know what either condition is; what the causes are or what the treatment entails. Worse yet, it sounds like some primary care doctors don’t either! This surely sounds like a case for a specialist, probably an endocrinologist since the adrenal gland is part of the endocrine system. (Not sure how a nephrologist got involved in one member’s care but at least the suggestion brought the idea into the awareness of the member.) Prayers and hope for those of you struggling with this.

I was referred to a nephrologist and hypertension clinic when I first presented to the ER in hypertensive crisis two years ago.
