Hi my name is Karen. In 2022 out of the blue I had a minor TIA then 7 months later I had a grand mal seizure at the hospital ER. IM ON medicine but the doctors still don't know why it happened at my age.

I've known about having something going on since the 4th grade, never could EXPLAIN the "things"...I tried once, to a friend and got a look back that said You are NUTS. So I gave up until I was 20 or so and went to a neurologist who didn't have a clue. When I had a Grand Mal, naturally I ended up in the ER where a Doctor left the room without a word when I asked "do I have epilepsy?". But at least I ended up with a new neurologist who did a really strange test that lasted for hours, and when I later saw him he said "You have partial Complex Seizures" and even told me where in my brain they were located! Plus, of course, I had a history of Grand Mals, so I was put on meds. The little seizures didn't involve loss of conciousness...they were more like zoning out....loosing focus...becoming temporarily distracted. Plus there was an "electrical" involvement that started in my head, qui9ckly ran down my body and back. Perhaps you've had some type of seizures all along, like I did but just didn't realize what they were. ??? just a consideration.
