Blood in the urine, UTI and antibiotics raise creatnine. Unfortunately, so can Zepbound. Zepbound can increase
the excretion of glucose in your urine providing a favorable environment for bacterial infection.
I'd suggest that you stop the injections until you talk to your Zepbound provider. Zephound can cause kidney damage by causing dehydration.
You could probably stay on the medication as long as you stay hydrated. I don't think your test results will be accurately reflected until you have vanquished the infection and stopped the antibiotic. I hope your numbers will be back to normal.

Thanks for this! I had no idea about Zepbound - probably b/c I never knew there was anything going on with my kidneys! Always maintained ion the 60s for years. I am going to see my doc Monday and I know he will say let's repeat all these - that eGFR# was like being hit with a cast iron skillet! THANKS for your reply!
