@triciaot , thank you very much for this piece of advice. I think it would really grab the care team’s attention. So two days ago I went to the ER and had an ultrasound scan done, the Dr thought it could be an infection, but the scan didn’t show anything like that, then the following day I was scheduled in for an MRI, which I’m did yesterday but one, but to be honest, I’m afraid to look at the results which were sent last night because my mental state is really unstable right now given the fact that this all new for me, and dealing with so many other family issues🤦🏽‍♀️. So I decided to wait for Monday for when I’m supposed to see the oncologist. Please tell me I’m being crazy not to look at the results 😟.

You are under no obligation to look at the results. I know people who wait to talk to their doctor and some who prefer to look at results when they appear in portal. Really there is no right or wrong. Just pace yourself depending on what works for you. Take care!

@elizabeth357 I totally understand being in an unstable mental state! It’s all so overwhelming and if you have other issues going on, especially with loved ones, it can just be too much. You’re not crazy!
Take care of yourself. Even if you looked at the results you couldn’t do anything about it without the doctor, so waiting until Monday is very reasonable.
Give yourself a hug for all you’ve done right. Getting the US and MRI done. Scheduling with the oncologist. You’re that much closer to solving the problem. I wish for you that there is a simple answer!
