Good morning. It has been a few years since my surgery, but I do recall it took a couple of weeks before I had energy to do much. I had a complete thyroidectomy with node dissection and just recovering from the surgery took a while. Then you have the hormones and med adjustments that can take weeks or even months to get normalized. Fortunately, I was able to work from home during my recovery stage which helped. Not certain if this or even partial days is an option for your work. Ask your provider for a medical note if needed for your employer. Do be kind to yourself and patient with your healing process.
