I also had a reaction to my first reclast infusion, basically felt like I had the flu for 10 days. Fevers, chills & body aches.
My second infusion was much better, slight fever for 2 days & some body aches for about 5 days, similar to my reaction to flu shots.

My doctor recommended being well hydrated before & the days following infusions, and also taking Tylenol the day before, day of, and continue until any side effects are gone. I did this both times.

Thanks so much for your reply. Did the infusion actually help with your bone loss? My reaction actually occurred about 5 days after the initial infusion and came in the form of excruciating pain in my shoulders and hands to the point where I couldn’t even dress myself. It gradually went away after about two weeks but was very scary and debilitating.
