Your experience is close to mine. My GP identified ‘punch-outs’ occurring on my ribs that appeared to heal and then appear in other areas. At the same time I had a hard fall and broke my pelvis which incidentally healed well. There was no mention at anytime that I had osteoporosis. Although I kept complaining about my rib pain so she sent me to an internal specialist who did a tissue biopsy but results were inconclusive. Now a year later he wants to do a bone biopsy to rule cancer.
The specialist took a tissue biopsy which came back non inconclusive and now a year later he wants to rule out cancer. My blood tests and ct scans show no evidence and I am rethinking going through with a biopsy that may only again be inconclusive.
I would rather just concentrate on my health, with proper nutrition, strength training, balance and intensity and all the other things to go towards living with osteoporosis

Thank you for sharing your experience.. it becomes debilitating at times. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis like 25 years ago . I had to have a hysterectomy when i was 30 and never was told to take anything. Now im suffering for it. Im doing the evenity shots and shes thinking the pain is from the shots. I started them in November and have been having pain since. Im scheduled to get an mri on my back on monday then i see her on Wednesday.. so i may have to stop the shots. The pain is unbearable…
Before this all started i would have popped cartilages and it would be painful for weeks ..
I cant lift anything heavy or lean over something bc it would pop.. im sorry that you cant seem to get answers 🙏🏻

I would do the same as you have chosen. Have you looked into what the data shows for when women started having so much osteoporosis? I just wonder if it is a loss of estrogen. After they started to deny giving us estrogen in pill form so it would help with all of the estrogen receptors we have throughout our bodies.
Wishing you and well all of us the best.
