They usually don't trust you home lab and will re-run stuff using their labs and equipment. You didn't say in your OP that they will be using contrast with the MRI.

I was honestly unaware they ever did MRIs without contrast, I thought they always involved a portion of imaging w/ contrast. In any case, all the people I have spoken to at Mayo said we're good to go for all appointments,

I am unsure if trust is the issue, the most up to date data is desired when diagnosing and just before surgery. There may be other tests that have not been performed on your home lab samples. Replication/verification of data results plays a huge role in accepting both scientific findings and your personal state of health, too.
