I have been diagnosed with NSCLC stage 1B in Aug. 2023 and had the surgery, now is on Tagrisso 80 mg for 15 months, just wonder how long I have to be on this medication? has anyone also having this kind of situation?

Hi @judy0707 , I'm not an expert in this area, but I can share some general thoughts. The use of these types of targeted therapies in early-stage cancers is still relatively new. They were first approved for late-stage patients. It is encouraging that they are proving to be effective for early-stages too. I believe at least one of the clinical trials (FLAURA2) had participants take Tagrisso for three years. That doesn't mean that all patients will be able to tolerate the med for that long, and it doesn't mean that everyone makes it that long without progression.
Are you doing ok on the drug? Any limiting side effects?
