Proctitis from radiation: Is your Dr addressing this with you?
I’m seeing more reports of Proctitis or rectal bleeding . This is from Radiation
Dr Schol of PCRI suggests Drs use Spacor or HydroGel to protect Rectal wall from radiation.
My Dr never mentioned it. I plan on asking on next Dr visit.
I’m 20 treatments into 44 Proton and starting to experience some real bowel urgency that is concerning if I’m not at home. Wondering if Spaceor or Hydrogel would help protect
- is your Dr addressing this with you !?
Not sure how that is administered for daily radiation treatments.
