For me, I have early stage dementia. I live alone, and have only one son, but I can’t burden him with me.
I dread having to get rid of the things I love when it comes time to move into a 350 sq foot room.
I’ve already toured a few Assisted Living places. The rooms have no storage space even for clothes. One place didn’t even have a kitchenette in the rooms. If you wanted something to drink, you had to go down the hall to a common “kitchen”. No thank you…
