He just tells me that I'm 74 and hormones won't help me. I'm going to call his office tomorrow and see if he'll consider Estradiol. He's so against HRT in any form and stands by the studies that HRT causes cancer. I'm thankful for finding this site and have been reading, learning and making notes. I live in a rural area and am planning to find another doctor, even though I'll have to drive an hour to do it. Thanks for taking the time to respond and to suggest the "Wild Yam Cream." It's in my Amazon Cart!

I get that too, from specialists at leading medical facilities. I’m still exploring other opinions.

Ref. Estradiol, it is a locally applied cream. It doesn’t enter the system the way HRT treatment does. Even doctors who don’t favor HRT prescribe Estradiol, based on what I’ve seen. I don’t think it’s controversial.
