Moving to a retirement home?

@catartist when you said “(I’m 104 now)” I thought you were saying you are 104 years old and I thought “WOW!! I should live this long and have this kind of energy!” I see now you meant that is what you weigh - which still is remarkable! I am 78 and yo-yo between 125 and 129 lbs - but don’t have anywhere near your energy!

I am seriously thinking of downsizing my life too - but it’s tough because I am so sentimental!

Haha! After I sent it I realized it could read that way! Lol. My battles with RA, sever arthritis, (breast cancer 5 yrs ago) muscle atrophy in limbs ( possible adult onset muscular dystrophy, ) iGg IV theropy for low immunity), asthma, breast cancer etc leave me fatigued - not my usual self and artist at all! One reason that move was so so hard! But now weight back a bit and getting use to the emotional loss of so many years of our and parents history going to new lives elsewhere. That helps some. I am lucky to have my love of 56 married years having my back - and his isn’t a good one! What matters is family and I have that here too -2 of 8 grand! Think of positive and restart the ‘let go box’. Best of days to you!!!

Being sentimental is not the worst part of moving! It's the physical aspect of getting rid of what you won't need in a smaller place. I am starting now to get rid of things. Going through the basement, taking obvious discards to the thrift store and I don't even know if or where I will be moving.
