The lady I spoke with said there's no way we'd make the MRI in time and best to move the bloodwork, but they didn't have any early appointments. So his bloodwork is now for that afternoon. They need his labs for his cath the next day, not the MRI.

However, I am wondering if the contrast they use will affect his numbers? 🤷‍♀️ His cath is 5:45 am the next morning so we don't really have any other options. He will be getting bloodwork locally a few days before we fly out so hopefully the cath lab will have the info they need one way or another.

Depending on the type of blood work they are doing, there is no way of knowing if contrast will have an effect. Will you have results of bloodwork done locally be available and do you know if running same test? Maybe you should call back and ask about contrast affecting blood test ordered for cath and what blood tests they have ordered?

What time are you arriving day before your appointments, any way you can get blood work done day before?

Scheduling can be hassle. Do not want blood test interfering with the cath.
