I would call the MRI desk and ask their advice. They may have some insight on the blood work and be able to help. If not try the prescribing doctor's nurse. I've been in the large waiting area in the Hilton building waiting on blood work, too. Then making the mad dash upstairs to an appointment.
I know before I have a CT or MRI they check my creatine level. Maybe they are doing that??

They check creatinine to make sure that you kidneys can flush any contrast agent easily.
