Alternative/wet blanket consideration...penile engorgement may also be due to inflammatory response to presence of catheter. Or (what I experienced) the surgery itself coupled with the loss of lymph glands produce excess swelling (fluid) in the general pelvic area which can't easily be transported away due to the disrupted lymphatic channels.

You'll know more in about 3-4 weeks...

I certainly hope that’s not the case, and I really don’t feel like that’s what’s happening with me, as it’s the same regularity as pre-surgery. I was fortunate to keep most of my nerves and all of my lymph nodes, so fingers crossed! Until then, it’s nice to be carrying an extra hammer around just in case you run across a loose nail or railroad spike that needs to be hammered back into place real quick 😂.

Actually I was able to conjure up a spontaneous erection this morning. I was actively avoiding this and, of course, having a catheter in isn’t the sexiest feeling in the world, but I wanted to see if I focused on something if that would result in any sort of reaction and react it did.
