She had had acupuncture, did Physical therapy, went to chiropractic many times, etc. She is getting a cervical bone scan this week hoping to identify where hot spot is for pain. ACDF surgery was 6 months ago.

@boudreauj Welcome to Connect. Your wife's surgery was recent. All surgery creates scar tissue that gets tight and can cause pain. We often have tight areas of the body too and tightness after surgery can link to other tightness in your body. I realize you're looking for another possible spine problem, but it can be something as simple as tight fascia causing a problem.

The good news is that there are therapists trained in myofascial release which is a specialized way to stretch out overly tight tissue. I have done this with my PT since 2010 and it has benefited me a lot. She taught me ways to do home stretches so I can maintain proper function and movement without restrictions.
