While relatively infrequent, I’ve had major GI issues, including severe pressure, that has not subsided in the four months I’ve been on Repatha. If you are committed to give Repatha a good trial (as I am), possibly see if you can see if the symptoms subside? Sending you good wishes!
It will go away, I didn’t have the pressure, but I noticed I had to urinate more often as my body adjusted. It had something to do with getting rid of too many fluids in my body. I was able to lose 32 pounds. I had been so overweight because of all the edema
Please report this to your provider that prescribed the drug and continue to monitor how you are feeling. It may very well go away or it may cause you problems, so staying on top of it until you figure it out is important. I had problems the crept up on me and wish I had been able to connect the dots earlier.
No one can tell you that. Some people have side effects, mine were different (fatigue, muscle and joint pain, extreme back pain). Some people have tolerable side effects, some people have to quit using it. Side effects go away or get better for some. For me they got worse. Only time will tell. However, I urge you to report your side effects to your doctor.
