Lodging in Jacksonville Mayo clinic
Hi, I will be visiting Mayo Clinic Jacksonville from May to June. Can anyone help me with the available options for lodging? Thanks

Been a patient at Mayo Jacksonville since 2006. Before I moved to Ponte Vedra (just south of Jacksonville) spent many nights as Courtyard at Marriott.
The Marriott is located on Mayo property. It is right across street from Davis Building. You can walk across street to Mayo Clinic or take the courtesy bus. The Courtyard has a restaurant but Mayo also has some very fine dining options also.
In recent years other motels have been and are not far from Mayo.
I think you can call the main numbe for Mayo and asked for accommodations number. One of the mentors would probably have more information on accomdations with a web site to log onto.

Also, do you know about Mayo Clinic's free Concierge Services? They can help make recommendations suited to your requirements. It's worth contacting them if you haven't already. Though located in Rochester, they provide this service for all Mayo locations.

Have you set up your Patient Portal? It is very helpful for keeping track of appointments.
Thanks a lot for your help.
If you are going to be in Jacksonville for a month, I would recommend an Airbnb. There are a lot of them within 10 miles of campus and specifically advertise their proximity to the campus.
Many hosts offer discounts for extended stays.
We like the laid back atmosphere of Jax beach.
You are going to the best place on earth.

I was trying to remember the name of the other motel that is really close by.
It is the Residence Inn. Thats the one with separate bedroom and kitchens if you are staying for a long time.
When you go and you don't pick Courtyard by Marriott you will see it is co-located on Mayo property and right across street from Davis Building. They do offer courtesy bus. I was told by Mayo they have a special program for those who qualify of specific rooms set aside for Mayo that an on call doctor.
thanks a lot!
Have you heard of the Gabriel House? It is a residential facility on campus for people undergoing testing and transplants. The price and the atmosphere are very good.
YES. I couldn’t remember that either. We have stayed there twice.
They offer a free hot breakfast and have an incredibly friendly and compassionate staff.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you all. God has his hands upon you.
