I got both a Flu and Covid Vaccine 11/13/2024. My symptoms started within a week. I had no idea what was happening to me. Severe pain all over body but mostly in both shoulders and both hips. I did not get finally diagnosed for 10 weeks and it was extremely painful. I did not connect to Flu vaccine until I read about it and I am 100% sure it came from vaccination.

@jimgould, Sad to hear about your reaction. I also came down with PMR after my second COVID Pfyzer vaccination, but fortunately it was a mild case and have been in remission for a couple of years now. Be sure to report your reaction to this government site: https://vaers.hhs.gov/
Wishing you a speedy recovery. I highly recommend following a whole foods diet, high in anti-inflammatory foods. There is an existing thread on this subject: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/diet-pmr/

Shingles vaccine gave me PMR

My PMR started after receiving my Covid & flu vaccines at the same time. There’s now quite a lot of research about it on online. Hard to prove though. I was very fit before I had them & just know mine was brought on by vaccine/s. Apparently the adjuvant used in the flu vaccine has a link to PMR too. I’m in my 4th year now & it’s been quite debilitating.
