@cwal I had Hyperthyroidism / Graves disease. It was diagnosed and treated by my my endocrinologist. It was treated with a medication. I’m no longer on the medication. My endocrinologist continues to monitor with lab tests. The tests are all normal.
I did have symptoms. I had tons of energy, was never hungry (lost weight) or tired and I was hot and sweaty all the time. I thought maybe I was in early menopause and having hot flashes. When I mentioned it to my endocrinologist and she tested that is what it was.
I have never heard of Rickettsial disease, what it has to do with a tick bite, or Graves Disease.
Hope your endocrinologist can get to the bottom of it.

I see you are a mentor for this group. Thank you for your reply.
What medication did you take and for how long? Did you have side effects or symptoms? Do you have to take supplemental thyroid now?
Is Subclinical Hyperthyroid always treated or can they take a wait and watch approach?
Just FYI- Rickettsial disease from a tick bite can so strange and sometimes very serious things to your body. Take a read and you'll see. I was in the hospital for several days.
