I’m very lucky that I live in a small town and attend church regularly. It’s the church folks and neighbors that helped me navigate my trial and tribulations. Thanks to my neighbors, church members and even high school classmates, I have made it five years.

@mohusker, it pays off to have a good social networks in times of need. I'm glad that you were able to accept the offerings of help. Sometimes that can be hard to do. Congrats on the 5 years.

May I ask what type of cancer you had? How are you doing today?
