aquablation and retro ejaculation

I get the feeling that the procedure causes some damage, and probably scarring, to the urethra.
Which leads to some mild pain during urination.
Which creates a new problem for patients hoping for relief.
I have no idea if this heals over time.
I think every urologist should be required to undergo aquablation and a cystoscopy as a qualification for licensing.

My surgeon said the procedure destroys the urethra lining, mucosa which I assumed would grow back rather quickly. 9 days after my aquablation still feel urethra pain although it is getting better. Urologist seems unconcerned about urinary tract infection. I would agree to the cystoscopy but would not require aqublation for would be urologist. Maybe they do practice on each other in early residency. I think the upside of this procedure is a urination increase is almost a certainty with little likelihood of incontinence or ER disfunction. The down side is long recovery, some retrograde ejaculation and little mentioned issue which is time to orgasm and negative changes in orgasm sensation. Does anyone feel these issues are grossly underreported and communicated?
