I'm so glad that your endoscopy was moved up to next week! Please please keep us posted here on what they find out. I think the gastric emptying study would be a good idea and, forgive me but I follow so many medical forums, you might want to ask your doctor about the possibility of you having SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth). I agree with others here about Mayo Clinic. I was there and managed to hit every department in 2007. Ended up having sigmoid and descending colon resection. It's like a Jiffy Lube for medical patients! They leave no stone unturned! I was also back there in 2018 when my bloating and constipation problems became untenable and that's when I was diagnosed with SIBO. And I thought I knew every gastro diagnosis there was! But western medicine still wasn't as aware of SIBO as they are now. I went to the clinic in Minnesota. If you plan to try to get in there, I would recommend getting paperwork and insurance and medical records info started as soon as you can. I hope you can get answers and, again, please keep us posted here when you find out any new info. Praying for you, my friend. 🙏❤️
